- That living, as we understand
it, is literally an interim state. You existed before life and will
continue to exist afterwards. Thus if we can view our true existence
as a linear timeline, then at one specific point in that line, there
is division. Where one branch deviates all so slightly from the main,
and for a brief period of time our conscience is divided as we experience
this life.
- That this physical life is the true “Spiritual” state.
We perceived it to be tangible and immediate, but our true corporeal
existence is in a seemingly unperceivable dimension, all so slightly
out of our understanding.
- That there is truly a spiritual battle
going on. Where the war that is being waged in the other dimension
is being fought as battles in this one.
- That the only reason for this
current spiritual life is for us to expose our true nature and make
an unbiased decision that eternally affects how we live our true life.
- That
just as we are fully self-aware and cognizant of our living experience,
we are just as cognizant in our true existence outside of life. Except
in our true existence, we are fully experientially aware of both -
as one mind. But in our current state, we are totally blinded to the
other.
- That the whole part of you is fully aware of what is at stake
and why you are living this life. And you, as the complete being,
desperately want to influence yourself, as you experience life, to
make the right decisions. But since we cannot intellectually comprehend
the essence of the other dimension from this one, our cross dimensional
influence is limited circumstance nudges.
- That the only commodity
that can transition from this spiritual life and our actual life is
a decision – a single choice.
- That YOU are, as the saying goes, the
angel on your own shoulder.
As convoluted as these suppositions
sound, in the first chapter of this book I’m going to present an image
that attempts to articulates this perspective. This chapter will frame
a theory that describes our true, combined life (as if the truth can
be known). This will certainly be a stretch of the imagination on
my part. But the intent is not to profess a truth that is not knowable,
but to provide perspective to explain something so esoteric – that
life is continual, with a brief and deliberate sojourn to this existence
for the sole purpose of discovering a truth about yourself.
The
following chapters will attempt to provide credence to this theory.
Drawing from my own life experience about unexplainable events I will
submit a series of analogies to support this position. And primarily,
I will make a significant walk through the spiritual principles outlined
in the Bible to demonstrate the compatibility of this perspective
to most other religious position, but to Christianity in particular.
To
a great many, this is nothing but stating the obvious. But to many
that I know, I hope this brings a reality to something that is so
inescapably esoteric.
